Live from the Retail Marketing Expo!

 

 

 

Last Tuesday we recorded a live session of the “Girlfriend We Gotta Talk!” radio show at the Retail Marketing Expo at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.  The Expo had over a 1000 attendees and was a great place to meet face-to-face with the media, advertising, and technology in the Richmond region; discover marketing products and services, and attend powerful education sessions. 

 

In our directors’ chairs in front of a live audience, we got to sit down with Nancy Thomas, President of the Retail Merchants Association about the “Think. Shop. Buy.  Local” campaign.  Mary even came up with what LOCAL really stands for.  You gotta hear it!

 

Plus, we chatted with four area business owners who are adding to our local community and doing good things because of their businesses:

They were positive, motivated and aren’t letting a recession stop them from pursuing their dream.  Talk about letting the oxytocin flow!
