Need more sanity, confidence, and fun? Then, girlfriend we gotta talk!
A UCLA study revealed that when women get together and talk – even on the radio – oxytocin fills our bloodstream and we feel better. Which means, men are right. We women are on drugs when we talk with our girlfriends. And, all this time, we thought it was the wine!
Even the most successful girlfriend need more sanity, confidence, and fun in their lives! Goodness knows, we do.
That's why we decided to create the "Girlfriend We Gotta Talk!" radio show. It's our way of increasing the oxytocin in all women. From July 2008 - July 2011, each Sunday at 3 pm on WLEE 990 AM in Richmond, VA we talked and laughed with guests such as supermodel Kathy Ireland, bestselling author Marci Shimoff, ABC Good Morning America career expert Tory Johnson, and SELF magazine editor Lucy Danziger. You can listen to any of our past shows right here on GirlfriendWeGottaTalk.com.
More About Mary
Mary Foley has been increasing her own sanity, confidence and fun since her freshman year in engineering at Virginia Tech. Thankfully, her university experience didn’t put her over the edge, but it did cause her to search for a career she loved. She did not anticipate she would find it as an $8 an hour customer service rep at then-unknown America Online – or that she would stay 10 years, be promoted four times, and become the company’s first head of corporate training
Today, instead of solving engineering problems, Mary inspires women with practical advice to create sanity for their lives and confidence for their careers – all while having a bit of fun! She is the author of three books, a popular national speaker, and co-host of the Girlfriend We Gotta Talk! radio show.
Her latest book, Live Like Your Nail Color, Even If You Have Naked Nails became an instant Amazon bestseller. You could say Mary went from math to manicures
In her media adventures, she has been on the cover of Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine and spoofed on the E! Entertainment TV Show The Soup. Spoofed or not, Mary takes it all in stride. She says wearing red nail polish helps! Find out more about Mary at www.MaryFoley.com
More About Susie
